Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026.

In short

  • We only collect what's needed to run the platform.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
  • Reviews appear publicly, anonymously or under the display name you chose.
  • You can delete your account anytime from your account settings.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and, optionally, a display name. When you submit a review, we store the text, scores, the apartment's general position, and the period you lived there. We do not ask for or store the apartment number.

At sign-up and each sign-in, we collect technical metadata for security and fraud prevention: the exact date and time, the sign-in method (Google or email), a simplified description of your device and browser (e.g. "Chrome, macOS"), and an approximate location at the city and country level derived from your IP address. We do not retain raw IP addresses long-term. This data is only visible to the admin team, in an internal interface.

How we use data

  • Email is used for sign-in and account-related communications.
  • Approved reviews are published on the building's page, credited to "Anonymous" or the display name you chose.
  • Aggregated data (average scores, review counts) is displayed publicly.

Who sees your data

Your email is private and never appears publicly. Only the moderation team sees a review's author identity during moderation. After publication, the review is visible only under the display name you chose.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and, with your consent, analytics cookies. Details in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

  • The right to access your data.
  • The right to correction and to delete your account.
  • The right to data portability; we can export your data on request.
  • The right to object to processing and to file a complaint with the relevant authority.

Account deletion

When you delete your account, your email address and profile are removed. Approved reviews stay public for the community but are disconnected from your identity: we show the name chosen at publication or "Anonymous," with no link to the deleted account.
