Revision to b2600171 we recently completed a full bathroom renovation on the main floor. however, there was an error in the stove location on the permit drawings submitted by our architect, which were subsequently approved. in order to install the bathroom, we needed to run water lines underneath the kitchen floor. as a result, we ended up replacing the kitchen flooring, cabinets, and countertops, but since everything remained in the same location, we did not apply for new permits.the issue arose during the final inspection for the new bathroom, when the inspector observed that the stove was positioned differently than indicated in the approved bathroom drawings. to address this, i am submitting documentation from the homeowner and the architect to correct the drawing discrepancies. since the gas stove is actually in the same place as it was during the previous kitchen renovation in 2009, i will also attach the kitchen permit and have the relevant drawings available at the house to show the inspector during their next visit.

What's worth checking in person before deciding.
- Test water pressure and temperature at the tap, in the bathroom and kitchen, for at least a minute.
- This is a house, not an apartment. Check the lot boundaries, car access, and how water drains from the yard after rain, including whether the neighboring lot sits higher and could send water toward the property.
- Ask what heating system is in place (own boiler, wood, gas) and request the last winter month's bills.
- Check the sewer connection (public network or septic tank) and the water source (public network or well), including pressure and water quality.
- Check exactly where you'd park: a spot in the yard or garage, or street parking, and how crowded the street gets in the evening.
- Ask to see the construction documents (permit, sign-off) and check for visible cracks on the facade or in the attic/basement.
- Check the condition of the fence, yard, and sidewalk out front: who is responsible for upkeep, and whether there are any boundary disputes with neighbors.
Neighborhood recommendations are derived from public OpenStreetMap data and may be incomplete. Checking in person is still what matters most.
